Is my computer infected?
If your PC or laptop has no Antivirus/Firewall protection, it's highly likely that your computer will be harbouring some form of malware. Malware is a general term (made up from "malicious" and "software") for programs that have been designed with or can be used for malicious intent. These include viruses, worms, spyware and trojans. Some of the newer and more sophisticated malware is designed to access your personal information, such as your internet banking password.
In short, DO NOT ACCESS THE INTERNET WITHOUT A GOOD ANTIVIRUS AND FIREWALL INSTALLED!
